My older brother is a Leap Baby - born on February 29. Three out of four years he gets cheated out of a birthday. 2012 is a year for Leap Babies to shine. I placed this cache to honor him and all of the other Leap Babies out there.
The easy walk to the cache will take you through a lovely forest and along a brook. If you're patient, you'll discover there is a bridge. You don't have to jump the brook. The No Trespassing signs on the bridge are for motorized vehicles - not walkers. The cache is a camo micro right along a trail.
There are several small areas in Barrington with conservation easements. This is one along the Mallego Brook. This conservation land continues to be privately owned, but the owners allows foot traffic. Please keep your dogs on a leash. Thanks to Turbocam for protecting this land for recreational use.
