Geocache Description:

What better way to relax on a Sunday than do a crossword and find a geocache? The cache is in Cutler Park, but not at the posted coordinates. After solving a simple crossword and after a simple hike, you'll have the cache in hand.

The Puzzle

In order to find the cache, you must first solve the crossword puzzle below. After completing the crossword you will have a key to a Vignere Autokey cipher which is used to unlock the next piece of the puzzle. That piece will lead you to the cache.

The Cache

(Thanks Robar!)
Depending on the time of year, the trails may be wet and muddy, so be prepared. This cache is placed within the guidelines approved by the DCR and is only available from dawn to dusk.

A book of New York Times crossword puzzles is in the cache for the first to find/first to take. Enjoy!
