Geocache Description:

This cache is located near the Haven Recreation Reserve which comprises 23 acres of land currently under development for the community. There are four concrete tennis courts, eight asphalt tennis courts, one netball court, a newly constructed activities field, a wetlands and our hub of the community the Haven Hall. The Reserve was extensively damaged with the Black Saturday fire on February 7, 2009 and the committee have been working hard since then trying to recover.

There is the Haven Market which is held on the first Saturday of the month and is run by the Haven Recreation Reserve and Haven Community Enterprise committees.
Hundreds of people attend on the day and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere while listening to live band ‘Key Change’.
There is an excellent range of stalls from homemade sauce, relish, cakes, jams and locally grown produce including honey, organic vegetables, arts, jewellery, craft and plants. There are always new stallholders joining in so please come along and support them or load up your trailer or ute with pre-loved items and make some money at the Market.
Everyone loves the Egg & Bacon Muffins served for breakfast by the tennis club from 8am followed by the sausages and onions barbequed by the primary school from 10am.
Cache is a small sistema container which has a log book & pen and room for some small swaps.
