The last in our two year run of B-Day caches in the Canmore area.
Little L has spent many a summer day heading to Grassi Lakes with the Minis so what better place for her B-Day cache this year? The cache is located a few meters away from an "ancient" structure that on a day such as the day the cache was placed makes for an excellent snowball fight location. There is also a bench nearby for those needing a break on the way up or down the trail.
The cache is a small non-typical container hanging high enough in a tree to be accessible year round and is located approximately 1/3rd of the way up the trail to the lakes. Park at the Grassi Lakes Recreation Area parking lot and bring your own pen/cil.
