I chose 50 States Minnesota in honor of my favorite football team, the Minnesota Vikings.
The team was officially named the Minnesota Vikings on September 27, 1960; the name is partly meant to reflect Minnesota's place as a center of Scandinavian American culture. The team dominated in 1970's reaching the playoffs due to the effort of a stubborn defense that gave the team the nickname "The Purple People Eaters." The defensive line consisted of Alan Page, Carl Eller, Jim Marshall, and Gary Larsen. The Vikings are still looking for their first super bowl victory. Please replace cache exactly as found!
