Szent Imre Bazalttemplom

Badacsonytomaj egyik látnivalója a bazaltból épült, Szent Imre herceg tiszteletére szentelt római katolikus templom. A templom falai és a boltozatok is bazaltból készültek. Különlegessége, hogy Közép-Európa egyetlen bazaltból épült temploma. Ez a kéttornyú templom 1931-32-ben épült Fábián Gáspár tervei alapján.

St Imre Basalt Church

One of the sight os Badacsonytomaj is the roman catholic Basalt Church, which was sainted for St Imre prince. The walls and the vault of the church was also made from basalt. The speciality is that this is the only basalt church in Central Europe. This double towered church was built in 1931-32 designed by Gáspár Fábián.
