Geocache Description:

Dartmoor Bi-Monthly Midweek Event # 1

The first in what is hoped to be a regular bi-monthly event to try and bring the cachers of Dartmoor the surrounding area and everyone else who can make it to meet for an informal social evening to chat, catch up with old friends, make some new ones and even put some faces to those names you often see in the logs.

This first event will take place on May 9th 2012 in the White Thorn Inn, Shaugh Prior and hosted by shantz uk & cleverclogs, we will be there from around 7:00pm until 9:30pm so come and join us.

Thanks must also go to Muddypuddles who has offered support in trying to get this event off the ground and for supplying the Dartmoor cache hunt prize game.

Food is available and the menu may be viewed on the pub website, please indicate in your log if you intend to eat so we can let the landlord know estimated numbers. Children and dogs are allowed in the main bar but sadly no dogs are allowed in the partitioned off area of the bar.

It is hoped that other local cachers may take the baton and arrange the next meet for sometime in July at another venue and then pass it to someone else, however this is not compulsory.

Hope to see you all there, we may even put out a new cache to mark the event and it is hoped to release the details online at geocaching.com and at the event at 7:00pm. Who will be FTF!!
