Protected from Muggles by a combination lock, no keys required to access rooms, the combination is made available to guests by emailing ahead their reservation to : BTBBandB@gmail.com for instant auto reply.
Guests without email access can gain access by squaring the number located on main gate post.
Beechworth TB B&B is set in a secluded location on the fringe of a 4.5 acre privately owned country estate, just 1.5kms from the Post Office - a comfortable undulating 15 minute walk with plenty of geocaches available for discovery along the way.
The property has a small pond, from which the wonderful sound of Pobblebonk frogs can often be heard at night especially after rain (http://frogs.org.au/frogs/species/Limnodynastes/dumerili/ ), there is also an extensive garden with abundant native bird life and the occasional visiting Koala.
With sweeping views east, the property looks onto the pretty Stanley Ranges and a short walking distance to the west is the historic grounds of May Day Hill (LaTrobe University's Heritage campus) with magnificent 120 year old gardens.
Ample free off street parking is available for all guests and their visitors, please treat grassed areas with caution in wet conditions, designated wet weather parking available another 50 metres South along the road (S36 20.000 E146 42.000).
Guest accommodation includes Singles, Double and Executive Deluxe suites to choose from, and all offering first class comfort with everything that a TB could want. All of our rooms are private with a detached traditional cache facility and separate from the main estate house.
There is also a backpacker room available for the more social TB willing to squeeze in and share.
TB guests can indulge in an all they can eat delicious continental breakfast served every morning to their room, must be requested the night before prior to 6pm.

Your Hosts
Your hosts are a local geocaching family who have chosen beautiful Beechworth as their home and enjoy being part of its Community.
Guests can expect to be warmly greeted by two Geo Dogs that reside on the property, welcoming guests from behind the fence of their picturesque home.
Please note that guests do not need to enter the main grounds, where the dogs preside, to be able to check into their rooms.
