The remnants of Tropical Storm Irene blew through here on August 28, 2011. The Dog River rose out of its banks and destroyed everything in its path.
Maybe the landowners can make a deal with the Town of Berlin to use this sand on the roads this winter. Maybe they already did! No crops here for a while.
Update: As this cache was being published, there were some folks removing the sand that the Dog buried the field with. I agree with a posting in one of these caches that in a couple years, people may not know what these caches are about!
