This is one in a series of caches entitled "Take a Hike". There are no puzzles, no multi's, no challenging hides in this series; instead, what they share in common is a good hike in the woods, enjoyable in any season.
Haynes Field and Woods are part of the Boxford Trail system, and this hike will bring you on a good tour of this pleasant, woodland path (which is really more of an old logging road). The wide trail means a tick-free walk (until about the last 100 yards), and on my most recent excursion I saw a turkey, a deer, vernal ponds, and even someone's wood sculpture. On my hike I look a left at the first clearing closest to parking; though I'm not sure where the right-hand fork leads, hopefully either way you'll enjoy your hike!
