This geocache is in memory of my Black Lab " Nugent" who passed away in january2012. Nugent and I would come to this area in the fall to hunt birds, we always got our limit of woodcock, grouse every time.
I was lucky enough for Nugent to lead me right to the birds ( they were not on the trail thats for sure) Often we were back at the truck within a few minutes with a bag full of birds! Park at the gate and walk in on the trail.
