Geocache Description:

An easy cache about 7 km from the centre of Vaasa.
Helppo kätkö Vaasan keskustasta n 7km.

[ENG] This third wind turbine in Sundom were built in 2012 and has produced electrical power since april. This is a test turbine and is developed for superior energy production at sites near the shore and has a rated power of 3.6 MW and a rotor diameter of 118 metres.
The difference in the construction time of the two turbines in the picture is about 200 years.
It may be impossible to reach the container during maintenance work in the area and risk for mugglers is then great.
There is a new container and the place was changed in march 2015.

[FIN] Tämä Sundomin kolmas tuuliturbiini pystytettiin helmikuussa 2012 ja se on tuottanut söhköenergiaa huhtikuusta lähtien. Tämä on testiturbiini ja se on kehitetty ylivoimaiseen energiantuotantoon rannikoilla oleviin kohteisiin. Tuuliturbiinin nimellisteho on 3,6 MW ja sen roottorin halkaisija on 118 m.

[SWE] Den här tredje windturbinen i Sundom restes i februari 2012 och har producerat elenergi sedan april. Det är en testurbin och utvecklad för att ge överlägsen energiproduktion när den placeras i områden med goda vindförhållanden. Den nominella effekten är 3.6 MW och vindturbinens rotor har en diameter på 118 meter.
Skillnaden i byggnadsår mellan bildens två turbiner är ca 200 år.
Om servicearbete pågår på platsen kan det vara omöjligt att nå cachen och mugglarrisken är då stor.
