[FIN] Helppo peruskätkö, joka sijaitsee Kapernaumin junanratojen välisellä alueella tarjoten myös näkymän radoille. Maasto on hieman normaalia metsäkätköä haastavampi. Pidä mielessä, että junanradoille ei ole mitään asiaa kätköä etsiessä. Luethan myös lähestymisohjeet kuvauksen lopusta. Palauta kätkö myös kuten se oli, jotta se ei jää liian näkyville.
[ENG] An easy traditional cache which is located in the part of Kapernaumi that is between the railway tracks. The cache site also provides a sight to the tracks. Terrain is a bit higher than with normal forest cache. Remember that you should stay away from the tracks when looking for the cache. Please also read the instructions for approaching the cache from the end of the listing. Please put the container back as you found it so it won't be too visible for other cachers.
[FIN] Seinäjoki on tunnettu rautateiden solmukohta. Täältä jopa löytyy muutaman kilometrin pituinen ja parin sadan metrin levyinen vyöhyke, joka on ratojen välissä. Idässä aluetta rajaa noin kymmenkunta tavarajunien raidetta ja lännestä löytyy kaksi matkustajajunien raidetta. Kätkö sijaitseekin tavarajunien raiteiden välittömässä läheisyydessä.
Tällä alueella sijaitsee esimerkiksi Suomen Viljava Oy:n viljasiilo, jonkun verran asuintaloja, VR:n tiloja sekä Varikkogalleria (joka onkin jo kätkötetty). Aluetta halkoo lähes koko pituudestaan myös Kapernauminkatu, jonne pääsee pohjoisesta Rautatiekatua/Naperokujaa pitkin Ruukintien Shellin kulmalta ja etelästä Kapernaumin teollisuusalueelta Runkotieltä. Pyörällä ja kävellen alueelle pääsee myös Kivistöstä alueen eteläpäästä.
Kaikista mainituista paikoista on alikulkutie junanratojen alta. Kapernauminkatu mainittuine pääsypaikkoineen onkin ainut sallittu lähestymissuunta kätkölle. Missään tapauksessa alueelle ei voi tulla ylittämällä junanratoja. Kätkön läheltä löytyy sopiva levennys, johon voi jättää auton loggauksen ajaksi. Parkkipaikan koordinaatit on merkitty waypointiin.
[ENG] Seinäjoki is a well-known node of railroads. Here is also a zone between the tracks that is a few kilometers long and couple of hundred meters wide. In the east the area is bordered by about ten railway tracks for cargo trains and in the west there are two tracks for passenger trains. The cache is indeed located near the tracks for the cargo trains.
In this area are located for example the following things: A grain silo owned by Suomen Viljava Oy, some private houses, buildings of VR and Varikkogalleria (which already has a cache). A road called Kapernauminkatu goes through almost the whole area. This road can be entered from Rautatiekatu/Naperokuja next to Ruukintie Shell in the north and from Runkotie in the south. You can also walk or bike to the area from Kivistö in the southern end.
An underpass under the railway tracks is at each of them. Kapernauminkatu with the mentioned entry points is the only allowed way to approach the cache. It is forbidden to enter the area by crossing the railroads. There is a wider space near the cache where you can park your car during the logging. It’s marked with a waypoint.
