Geocache Description:

This cache will be archived on May 1, 2013This is one of a series of ten Geocaches which was placed along the Long Bark Trail in Oakwoods Metropark nature study area in connection with the "Pull together For Nature 2" event held on National Trails day, June 2. The trail is a 2 mile loop with lots of shade. Additional information about the series may be found HERE

Plants are in a constant struggle for life's essentials - water, light, nutrients and living space. The success of one may mean the death of another. What will happen to the small trees when the vines climbing on them eventually overshadow them? What then will happen to the vines?

This cache is located within Oakwoods Metropark, a part of the Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority park system. A Metropark Vehicle Entry Permit is required: Annual Permit $25. Senior Permit $15. Daily Permit $5.
