I was in the area hunting some of the new caches, and stopped to check on this one.
The original lair is empty, but shows signs of recent traffic, so I placed this cache in a different place. Hopefully it will not get muggled so easily.
This is a local landmark that many here do not know exists.You will know you are there when you find the year of the event that the cache is named for. When you discover that, you are within about 36' of the cache. A little hunting around the area should reveal it.
You can park at N 44.48.759 W 073.03.910. There is a gate here so please don't block it as they may have a sports event and need access. You can however walk from there. If familiar with the area there are other points of access.
