Take a hike with Mike in the Ballard Hill Conservation Area in Lancaster. Trailhead and parking is near the power lines.
Mike likes to hike and this is a little know conservation area in Lancaster. The grass parking lot is right next to a house but is well marked. Take the overgrown grass trail to the power line and follow the trail. It will branch off to the left toward the cache. The cache is a Lock and Lock container about 180 feet off of the trail in fairly open woods. Near where you go off the trail you should spot an old plow on the opposite side of the trail. I couldn't find a good spot to hide the cache next to the plow so I hid it about 200+ feet away. If you continue your hike down the trail you will get to the Nashua River. Enjoy!
