Geocache Description:

Castle Quest is being hidden as part of the Reading Public Library 2012 Children's Summer Reading Program.   It is an easy cache so that families can have a successful first experience geocaching and go on to enjoy the many caches around town. This cache can be found without the use of a GPS by doing a little research.

A large area of land was deeded to the Town of Reading in 1917 and two years later, on April 19, 1919, the townspeople of Reading gathered to build a park. It is believed to be the first public park in Reading, other than the Town Common.  It's entrance looks like a castle wall!  If you choose the RIGHT gate to enter this "Kingdom" (aka _____ Park) and continue to keep your eyes looking in the RIGHT direction, you will find the Castle Quest Cache!  This cache is in a 5 1/2 X 4 inch plastic waterproof box inside of a ziploc bag.  To start, this cache includes a small laminated card for the First to Find (FTF) to take to the Reading Public Library Children's Room to claim the FTF Prize, a log book, a Rock Band button, a toy spider, toy horse, race car and toy lion.
