The 2012 Summer Olympics will be celebrated from July 27, 2012 to August 12, 2012 in and around The UK. Among the many many visitors from all over the world, there surely are some Geocachers. This event offers the chance to meat each other, swap some stories and make new friends.
Event will be held on Aug. 5, 2012 from 11am to 1pm.
Feel free to come and go, visit before or after lunch etc...
Since the Park is going to be in use by the city, the coordinates may change slightly. The current coordinates will get you to the park and where I would like to meet, but it may be moved if the city is using that exact spot. As of Aug 4, the gathering can be at the exact coordinates :) :)
We have a Geocaching flag and Geocache name tags to help identify the group.
There will be some snacks and drinks but feel free to bring more to share!
Potters Field is a beautiful green space located in the city center near Thames River, Thames Path, Horsely-Down, the Tower Bridge and the new More London!
This location is one of the Mayor's free location to catch the Games on a big screen.
