A quick and easy find that can be started from the yellow trail of the Waste management trail system at the Isinglass river. Bring an orphaned/homeless key from your old key rings and lets start a collection.
My wife and I take our dog out to these Isinglass trails as much as possible. The trails are well maintained and the views are well worth it. Take the family, take the dogs, and take a fishing pole. Catch a few trout while taking in the sights.
This cache is our first hide so we made it really easy. It's about .6 mile from the trailhead and only about 30 feet from the trail itself. After you start the yellow trail keep an eye open for an unmarked, yet obvious, trail on your right. This will lead you down a somewhat maintained "game trail" that will take you to the rivers edge. Perfect for some fishing away from the normally occupied falls area.
Drop off an old unused key or maybe a unique one. By the time we're done no lock will be safe.
