Geocache Description:


My dog Patch loves nothing better than walking around the block. Sometimes he’ll stop at the log cabin. Other times he’ll want to go to the path through the woods but I look at the hourglass and say “not that snail’s trail today’.
Often Patch gets distracted by the flying geese overhead, but that’s alright, I don’t mind waiting, especially if I can look at all the quaint attic windows in the neighbourhood, or feed the ducks and ducklings.
Now and then I’ll dress Patch up in his bowtie if we’re going somewhere special like Lone Star. He gets a biscuit while I enjoy some corn and beans. The outing ends all too soon though. I scrape the last bean from the dish and we’re off, back to the crazy house we live in. We check the sky on the way home to see if we can find jacob’s ladder or that mysterious hidden star. We might see it one day, wouldn’t that be cool? On the way back Patch always gets excited when he can see our weathervane in the distance because, although he loves walking the block, he knows there’s no place like home!
