A cache to find using an old and stained treasure map. It's not quite "National Treasure", but you will have people trying to get there before you.
Letterboxing started in Dartmoor, Devon, England in 1854. Letterboxing came to the U.S. because of an article in the April 1998 issue of Smithsonian Magazine. It consists of finding a box through the use of clues, which may be GPS coordinates.
In the letterbox (or "box" for short) is a logbook and a rubber stamp. The stamp remains in the box. The stamp is used to leave an image in the logbook you bring with you. Then you use your personal stamp to leave an image in the logbook inside of the box. If you don't have a personal stamp then please use the geocaching logbook. In true letterboxing style, you will need to bring your own inkpad. Black ink is recommended.
