Mäyrävuorelta avautuvat jylhät maisemat tarjoavat silmänruokaa retkeilijälle ja kätköilijälle. Tarjoten samalla näkymät pohjois-päijänteelle aina lähes kaupunkiin saakka. Keljonlahden voimalaitoksen piippu ja kinkomaan valot näkyvät selvästi näköalapaikalta tai sen välittömästä läheisyydestä. Paikalta on ainakin toistaiseksi hyvin esteetön näkymä päijänteelle.
Mäyrävuori sijaitsee noin kilometrin päässä 4-tiestä ja parkkipaikan löydät kätevästi aivan polun alkupäästä. Suuremmalla porukalla paikalle saapuvien on kuitenkin syytä käyttää Jääskelän luontopolun virallista parkkialuetta jolloin kävelymatkaa tulee noin 500m lisää.
Paikka on näkemisen arvoinen myös ilman kätkön noutamista ja suosittelen lämpimästi käväisemään paikanpäällä ihailemassa maisemia ja kiertämässä luontopolkua! Lokiin saa ja on myös toivottavaa kirjoitella myös näköalapaikalla vierailusta, vaikka et itse kätköä tohtisi etsiäkään.
Multin noutamiseen kannattaa varata aikaa reilusti tai noutaa pisteet useampana päivänä. Muistathan ottaa mukaasi myös kaverin sillä tarvitset jonkun katsomaan tekemisiäsi ja turvaamaan toimintaasi. Kamera ja eväät kannattanee olla myös mukana
Kätkön noutaminen vaatii kiipeilyvarusteet.

Mäyrävuori offers some great scenic view to northern part of lake Päijänne. Hikers and cachers are most welcome to enjoy this area and surroundings. You can almost see Jyväskylä from these cliffs. For sure you can see Kinkomaa area and Keljonlahti powerplant at the horizon.
Mäyrävuori is located roughly 3/4-mile from E4 and you can find space to park your car at the very beginning of the trail to Mäyrävuori. Should you arrive with a with a bigger group, then it is advisable to use Jääskelä-naturetrails official parking space about 1/4-mile ahead the road from the trail starting/parking point.
Mäyrävuori trail is worthwhile to see even if you are not a geocaching enthusiast and wish only to see beatiful scenery and enjoy the nature! Logbook is open also to record your experiences. Just add note and describe what you experienced during your visit to this beatiful area.
When you do decide to go for it and hunt down this cache. Do reserve plenty of time to do so.
Also it is essentially important that you bring a friend with you to watch your back and record your (hopefully) awesome experience.
Do take camera and food with you to enhance your experience.
Climbing gear for safety is essential when retrieving this cache.
