This hide is located "DEEP" in the woods of Wildcat Forest.....
A couple of months ago I came across a crumpled up piece of paper with some coords on it that had surely seen better days...After a quick check on Google Earth, I realized that it was a cache I had placed over two years ago(I can think of a few cachers that can relate to one of these moments)...Seeing as I needed to "Take a Hike" in these woods anyway, I thought I would check to see if anything was actually there...much to my chagrin, I found an uncammoed regular sized tupperware container with some crummy fast food toys, something resembling a log book and two pens that didn't work.....SO, I shot another set of coords and left.....Came back and dressed up the cache about a month later(Only a month this time) and shot one more set of coords...Thought about putting in an ammo box but it was my first regular hide so for sentimental reasons I kept it so(except the crummy toys)...The trailhead is located right at the parking coords...which in turn will bring you into yet another hidden gem of a forest in northeastern Mass.... Several well defined trails will bring you where you need to go(eventually)...As with all deep woods caches, be sure to bring the essentials for this is a fairly long trek... For those that have not been here, make sure to allot additional time to visit Bobcat3Oaks and Take a Hike:Wildcat on your travels and for those that have...you get another reason to revisit this forest that I have been "Wild" about since I started caching.....
Kudos to phild31 for taking a walk on the "Wild" side.......
