This cache was placed where i saw a bald eagle. The family was kayaking and saw this eagle flying around and land in a near by tree. I put the cache out and the rest of the family watched the eagle. The eagle watched us very closely. I was wondering if he or she was going to come down and take us out of our kayak as we left. The eagle stayed on its limb as we left the area. So the moral to the story is watch for bald eagles when you are out here boating.
The cache is a bison tube and only contains a log so bring a pen or pencil. You do not have to get out of your kayak to get this cache. You could possibly grab this cache from land however you will have to bushwhack to it. I am not sure if this cache will be winter friendly or not. I have never been on this ice or around it in the winter. If you decide to go after this cache in the winter use caution on the ice. THERE IS A GIFT FOR THE FTF.
