In August/September 2012 Swedish geocacher D/T visited Gran Canaria for family vacation. He found GC56F3 canyon-cache and had a long hike up to the cache in +32C. On the way back he placed this cache as a motivator for upcoming geocachers to take the same hike. One more to log during the hike makes it more fun!
Take a hike in Gran Canaria nature! But don't forget to bring some spare water! The hike up to this cache from suggested parking is easy. You can walk 1,2km on gravel road until some 20-30 meters left to the geocache. From the road is a climb of approx. 15 metes in height up to the geocache. It's not so hard if you take it easy but if you hurry, remember stones can be very hard and sharp!
If You decide to continue to geocache GC56F3 canyon-cache that one is a little bit harder but not undoable! Good luck and happy geocaching!
