Greetings,

It has been a while since I first looked at this cache. I can't find any recent responses about maintaining this cache so for the time being it will be archived and removed from the active cache listings. We are no longer leaving caches stay disabled for extended periods of time.

Groundspeak and the geocaching community appreciate your contributions to geocaching and I hope to see this cache back in operation soon.

If you can get it back up and running in the next week or so contact me to get it re-listed. Otherwise plan to move it slightly and set up a new cache page.

[green]Most problems can be solved with good communication so reply back to the reviewer and we will do everything possible within the guidelines to get your cache published. It is best to give me as much information as possible instead of saying nothing at all. This will speed up the process and we can get your cache published. [/green]

Geocache Description:

Welcome to my humble abode!

Fear not, this is a pretty relaxed block. Aside from the few web developers who live in this house, our neighbors consist mainly of retired 60+ year olds who have lived here for 40+ years.

All the neighbors have been notified of this cache, and welcome those who play the game.

The prize of a $250 Zune goes to jjbarretts2!

Favorite if its a favorite!!

Have fun!

"Here Kitty Kitty" refers to many things.

This particular house used to be a cat a house, and no, I dont mean one in which house felines. In cooperation with KCPD, my boss/landlord bought this house, and how is nearing full interior restoration, only to be followed now with the exterior restoration of this 100+ year old house.

It also represents the growing stray cat problem in Kansas City. My boss, and good friend, has funded a large project to collect the stray cats of the Elmwood & Swope District in order to spay & nueter these homeless cats.

So, feel free to bring a can of catfood and drop it off at the door, we will do our part, if you do yours.

This cache also represents the first memory I had while moving from the cushioned Suberbs of Kansas City to this historical and culturally ecstatic region of Kansas Ciy. My first night here, for some reason or another a kitten had ran up the tree and gotten stuck for a few hours until the Fire Deparment could come and rescue it.

This maybe overly poetic; But I see a lot of allegorical potency in this event. This is where all of us go, up to a tree, for some reason or another, to get stuck.
