miooktfe: Me da mucha lástima tener que archivar el caché. No he podido reponerlo con el mecanismo tan ingenioso que preparó en su día Mike. 🥺

Geocache Description:

An original cache of fascinationyacht(Mike)
Un caché original de fascinationyacht(Mike)

Another cache from i5fzi that the "Tenerife Triangle" has claimed!

Here, there's a magnificent view along the ridge, all the way to Teide.

This is a Crossroads for numerous Wonderful Walks.

The 2nd of September 2012 marked "El Dia del Carmen del Monte" and the Matriarch of the family wanted to go to the Celebrations and Service, so the family obliged. I had never been and felt it would be a great chance for some Great Photos. The Church service was not until 1.30pm so I went 'walkabouts' and found new parts of this region that were being developed for walkers and visitors alike. I put a new film in my 'trusty, old SLR' and began taking shots and used my 'digital camera' as a backup. Soon I felt the familiar tension of the 35mm film coming to an end, and so went for the next film... but it was left back in the car (huh). Just then. I spied some doodles that someone had 'thumbpainted' on some railing. Stickmen is how I thought of them....Dancing Stickmen.... so I used the digital to grab a couple of shots before getting a new film for my Old Camera.

I seemed to remember passing two or three other stickmen on my 'walkabout' but had taken no real notice.  But now, they captured my imagination.      Idle musings or backpackers talk?      I don't know.   When, I returned to finish the photos in difficult light conditions... imagine my surprise when they had simply disappeared !!   Yes, I was in the right place. How is that possible? I was dismayed. Was someone playing a trick on me? The 'digital camera still stored the images, so, I compared the place and time..... Yes, they were gone.    Unbelievable! I spent some time charging around but to no avail. The upstart of the whole thing is that I also lost my original film at the same spot....I am appealing for help. Does any one know what these doodles are about?  It needs some detective work. I wondered what Doyle would think of the disappearence.

Would he put it all down to "another Triangle Mystery" Also, If anyone could find my film....I would be grateful.

As, always.....please take a fine pen to write in the logbook. and a compass that works better than mine [sic]
