North bound on the Maine Turnpike take Exit 102 to Rt. 126. there is NO southbound exit to Rt. 126 on the turnpike.
from I-95 southbound: take Exit 103 to I-295, just after the toll booth take Exit 51- Rt. 126, the Lewiston Road.
from I- 295 northbound: it is before the toll- Exit 51 to Route 126.

There is no pedestrian access to this cache from the highway- please use exit # given. Caches are containers with logs only so BYOP.
The JOE cache series was started by altosaxplayer, a member of the Tri-Cities Geocachers. The name JOE means "Just Off the Exit". The series was started as an Interstate 81 equivalent to the "Loop to Loop" cache series that was started in Memphis, TN by cgeek. The JOE caches are placed near the exit and are intended to help traveling cachers break up the monotony of highway driving. The hint is a dead give away to the cache location.
