Geocache Description:

A letterbox geocache in memory of Jega Arulpragasam, who explored and blazed trails in the Lunenburg Town Forest and in the Hickory Woods.

The location is exactly on the border between the Lunenburg Town Forest and the Hickory Woods (private land association).  Follow Seaver Road southward from the Townsend side, park where it seems sensible (if you've come by car -- I've never approached by car, so I don't have good advice about that), and walk in past where it becomes unpaved double-track (you may see an abandoned vehicle along the way). This road used to be a main route between Townsend and Lunenburg. (There's another cache -- "You Can't Get There from Here" -- near the town line.) When you reach an intersection of double-track trails in the woods, head northwest (sharply to the right), follow red diamonds for snowmobile trail, and start looking at your GPS once you reach a crossing in the woods with stone walls and a posted warning to stay on trail (if you're a motor vehicle, that is). The far side of the wall is friendly private property, but you need not cross over...
UPDATE: Several seekers claim that GPS readings differ from those I've uploaded. I've confirmed location via satellite imagery, but it's possible that google's coordinates differ from those determined on the ground (and my handheld device is not the most accurate, alas). To aid in confirming the location, I've planted a FROG a few paces west of the site. The frog is looking straight at the cache location. Please don't disrupt the frog! (And let me know, in your log, if the frog is missing)
NOTE: There are stone walls in this area. As always for geocaching and letterboxing, please take care not to go around displacing stones (or overturning other likely animal habitats) in order to look for any cache; please get a visual glimpse or hint of a cache BEFORE disrupting anything, and please restore the site neatly to its prior state. Thanks!
This cache is a letterbox hybrid, and includes a home-made stamp depicting an item that Jega often took with him on his walks. Pen and inkpad should both be enclosed as well. If you're a letterboxer with your own stamp, bring it along and add it to your logbook entry. There are also a few exchangeable goodies, including coins from countries Jega significant to Jega.
