Geocache Description:

This month's mid-week meet in Berkshire will be on Thursday 1st November from 6:00pm at The Yorkshire Rose in Warfield.

This month the meet is being held by Sandvika.

The inn and restaurant is located on the A3095 / B3034 and has ample car parking at the rear. Some of you will remember it as we adjourned there after our CITO event in March. We have reserved the conservatory for our event.

The inn is popular particularly at weekends because it has a great variety of excellent food at reasonable prices, having both a bar menu and an a-la-carte menu. Thus turning up hungry is recommended though not obligatory. In the conservatory food is normally served from the bar menu but I'm sure they will oblige if you find something irresitible on the other menu.

When you log your "Will Attend" log please can you indicate how many of you there are and whether you will be eating, so that I can provide approximate numbers to the owner in the morning and enable him to be suitably prepared.

If you have never been to a geocaching event before you will be most welcome and it would be lovely to meet you. We are a very friendly bunch and don't bite much, so don't be shy! It's a great opportunity to match faces to geocaching monikers and share stories - even pick up hints for some puzzles.

Berkshire events have been going for nearly 2 years, copying the mobile format of adjacent counties, distinct from the Cunning Cachers' event every second Tuesday which takes place at The swan in Thatcham. Please see the GAGB calendar for details of other events around the country.
