The Town of Grindelwald has 4 main lakes around which it is built. This is the largest of the lakes and is called Lake Louise. A Swiss style restaurant and church are located on its shore and with a bridge connecting the lake's island.
This particular park and lake is a well kept secret and I think the locals like it that way. Access can be gained off Alpine Cres at the following co-ordinates

This entrance laneway looks a bit like a driveway with a white gate either side and a 25km sign. Do not be afeared! Drive down the laneway to the carpark by the lake.
