Geocache Description:

XL kätkön nimessä viittaa omistajan 40 v. syntymäpäiviin milloin tämä kätkö alun perin piilotettiin. 13.7.17 kätköä hieman siirrettiin.
XL means that owner turned 40 years when the original cache was hidden. Now 13.7.17 it was moved a bit.

Rivendell

[ENG]Rivendell is the elvish realm in Middle earth and inspiration of this cache. It would be easy to imagine that this place has been sometimes a realm for elves.

Unfortunately time has passed and buildings have seen better days. But before Elves left to gray havens this treasure was left for you to find.

Cache is in a place where the smallest and thinnest have easiest to get in, though mr. Small oaks fitted here just fine. (just barely) There is no need to do any climbing and broke anything. Just enter the right entrance. Still, be careful when moving and trying to avoid orcs when finding the hidden treasure. I hope the accuracy for gps is now a bit better.

In a reality cache is placed in the Kokonniemi park area. Pavillion itself is over 100 years old. This area is great for picnics and there are lots of places for parking your vehicle. Cache is quite big so, please hide it well out of eyes!

(Kätkö)
[FIN]Rivendell, haltijoiden kaupunki kirjassa Taru sormusten herrasta on ollut inspiraationa tälle kätkölle. On helppo kuvitella, että tämä paikka on joskus ollut haltijoiden aluetta.

Ennenkuin Haltijat lähtivät Harmaisiin satamiin he kuitenkin jättivät aarteen eli tämän kätkön löydettäväksi.

Kätkö sijaitsee paikassa, jonne pääsevät helposti kaikkein kapeimmat ja pienimmät kätköilijät. Minkäänlaisia kiipeilytaitoja ei tarvita. Ole kuitenkin varovainen ettet paljasta kätkön sijaintia örkeille.

Todellisuudessa kätkö on Kokonniemen puistoalueella. Paviljonkikin on yli 100 vuotta vanha. Alueella on reippaasti pysäköintitilaa ja loistavat picnic-mahdollisuudet. Kätkö on small kokoinen, kätkethän sen huolellisesti takaisin mahdollisimman näkymättömiin vinkin mukaiseen paikkaan. Lisätietoa puistosta löytyy related web page linkin takaa.
