A little hike to the ridge. The view is better sans most foliage.
The cache is well up the ridge above a moose wallow. It's really a little sag but wallow sounds better.
I placed it to commemorate a little misadventure involving a decision to walk from South to North. It turned out to be a "good log" kind of decision.
Years later, I thought of that route when I was looking for a place to drag cachers to. I suggest sticking with a logging road until you can cross the top of a small clearing but I don't usually read descriptions, either.
