Come walk on the wild side in the Wildcat Conservation Area. The cache is a camouflaged gas-saver micro located near the kiosk at the trail head.
Although bobcats have not been spotted in Boxford in more than 150 years, Wildcat Conservation Area has held onto its title. It's a fitting name for the 319-acre reservation, seeing that bobcats - as well as other carnivorous predators, such as wolves black bears and gray fox - were prevalent in the area until the 1850s, according to "The BTA/BOLT Guide to the Bay Circuit Trail and Other Walks in Boxford." This well maintained conservation area in Boxford is made up of woodlands, rocky outcroppings, vernal pools, and bogs.
