This cache kicks off the beginning of the Gorilla Trail which runs 1.5 miles from just east of Mt. Flagg to Mt. Shaw. A unique walk through an area reminiscent of a savannah forest. You may find that your gait lives up to the trail name!
As NEHIKR20 and I were doing a traverse of the high peaks of the Ossipee mountain range, we found ourselves coming up on the Gorilla Trail. Now a trail name like this just gets you thinking - so we started trying to think of all of the simian themed cartoons and movie characters we could. The first one that popped into my head was a cartoon from my childhood, Magilla Gorilla. And so the first geocache at the eastern end of the Gorilla Trail has been named in poor Magilla's honor. And if you don't find the cache today, take Mr. Peebles' catchphrase to heart, "We'll try again next week."
This little bison tube doesn't require brute force, perhaps a little finesse.
