At the coordinates you will find two history questions about the area you are in. In order to log this find, please email me the answers. Do not post them on this page, even if encrypted.
The cache is located on the southern side of the Rakaia River. It is located in a small "ghost town" - there are amazing views of the Rakaia a bit further along the trail from where the cache is located, but be very careful if you are walking along the ledge as the fall would be deadly.
If you get to the slip you've missed the trail to the question plate. The plate is NOT near the cliff. The terrain rating has been edited to reflect the true elevation change (it was never a T1).
