On 10/3/1802 Rob Brown and some collegues, Bauer, Good, Westall and Allen set out on an excusion to climb this peak. Meanwhile their mate Matt stayed on the boat and did some exploring of his own.
Two centuries later you can still climb the mountain and take in the fantastic view. You can see for miles and miles and miles.
The mountain is on the Heysen Trail. Allow four to five hours for the return journey from Woolshed Flat or Olive Grove.
