Geocache Description:

Part of the Winslow town forest is bounded by Stark Lane and Winslow Rd. It has been managed for timber harvest since 1930 when it was gifted by the Winslow heirs of the Starks (of Revolutionary War fame). It has a diversity of species of trees and animals with a babbling brook that runs through it. The best approach is from Winslow Rd. but this portion of the road in the winter time is maintained as a snowmobile trail so it might not be passable then.
