Fairfield County Visitors and Convention Bureau History Geo Trail Kickoff Event

Where: Alley Park Lodge, Old Logan Road Lancaster, Ohio

When: May 4th 2013 - Registration starts at 10am

FUN - FOOD - PRIZES

Join us for the Kickoff event for the Opening of the Fairfield County History Geo Trail. This Geotrail will take you on a tour across our lovely county visiting historic towns. Each town has a interesting story about a person or place who helped make up it's history. We hope you enjoy what our county has to offer while out caching.Once you have completed the trail and filled out your Geo Trail Sheet with the answers from each cache you can recieve your Geo Coin.

There are 200 Geocoins available - one per caching handle

We will start the day off playing Geo Golf

You will travel to nine locations around our county and pick up a Game Piece to place on each of your Scorecards to complete a nine hole round of golf. After completing your scorecard you will return to the lodge and we will decide a winner, eat and pass out prizes.

Some of the Trail caches will be passed out when you recieve your scorecard at our 10am Tee Off time. That way you can pick up some of the caches while playing your round of golf.

The rest of the Trail caches will be handed out after eating and prizes are completed allowing you some time to complete the trail.
