Geocache Description:

Happy New Year!!!!!! A big CONGRATS! to Gigi &JoJo and 1Carlin for the FTF honors!!!!

This would have been the 5th ABC Challenge that Blizzard had hidden except that he was unable to. Then I thought it would be easy for me to just step in and "get er done", but I almost didn't. Change is inevitable - so to that end I present to you The #@$%&? 2013 ABC Challenge. Yes, there are a few changes. But if you have done this challenge before you will know what you need to do to claim this cache. For the rest of you, read on! To claim this cache, you need to find and log 33 total caches; one for each letter of the alphabet (26), two (2) numeral caches; one with a 1 and another with 3 in the cache title, and finally (5) caches with a unique sign in their title such as @ # $ % ^ & ! ? ~ / + = | ;P \. All qualifing caches need to have been found in Texas. The process you follow to complete this Challenge is listed below: 1. Successfully find and log caches the names of which begin with each letter of the alphabet, the numerals and the special characters required. All cache types on geocaching.com qualify as long as they meet the other listed parameters. Examples: Acquiring Satellites=A Demise of a Dot Com=D '10th' Hole=1 Snack Time @ Wilco = special character 2. Create a public bookmark called Your name's #@$%&? 2013 Alphabet Soup Challenge: include this cache as your 34th entry, but remember that it doesn’t count for any of the required caches. 3. Keep this bookmark public after completing the challenge. 4. Be sure to include one qualifying cache for each letter of the alphabet, numerals, and the unique special characters. In the cache bookmark comments, please include the date you found the cache. A look at your alphabetized bookmark list will indicate if you have each letter, numeral, and character. 4. The posted coordinates are correct, and you may sign the log if you are in the area but do not log this as a find until you have completed all requirements. If you are not sure if you qualify just post a "write note" to set your place on line. 5. The numerals and special characters contained in the title of the challenge do not count! You must have 32 alpha, numeric, and 5 unique character caches to complete the challenge. Please be sure to bookmark The #@$%&? 2013 ABC Alphabet Challenge Cache. 6. This cache has been given this particular difficulty ranking because I have no idea which caches you may choose to do for this challenge, it may take some time to complete, and some planning as well. This year you will have a short hike to the final with a bit of bushwhacking along the way. Please park in designated public parking only. There is plenty close by. The attributes are for the final cache. As always in Texas, bring plenty of water and come prepared for the weather and critters! I hope you enjoy this years twists and turns to this challenge. And if we are lucky Blizzard will do the one for 2014! * 3/2020 Update - I am sorry that this one does not have a checker attached. Please be aware of the date this one posted - we didn't use checkers back then - or at least I didn't! PLEASE NOTE THAT THE POSTED PARK HOURS OF OPERATION ARE - 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Cache On!
