Norris' Hut is located in The Wellington Park which offers so many great natural features and opportunities for rewarding day walks in close proximity to Hobart. The Hut is about 10 minutes walk down from the saddle between Mt Montagu and the Thumbs/Cathedral Rock, to the left of the trail heading down hill. The hut was built by a Mountain River family, who own the property below the hut. The natural rock is used as one of the walls. It has a double bunk and one other bed.
Make sure you climb the rock forming the rear wall of the hut as it provides a superb view down the Huon Valley/Mountain River. It would be a great spot to stop for a bit of lunch.

The cache WAS located under rocks on the far side of the turning circle(but on the inner centre side) and should hopefully be easily found. It's contains a log and pencil.(Note: Cache is currently in the Hut, happy for it to stay there).
The easiest way (unless you get access though Norris' property) would be a return walk from the junction of the Pipeline track/Wellington Falls track. Or do the loop walk including Mt Montagu, Monatgu Thumbs, and Cathedral Rock. I have logged a route on my gps(gpx file) if you would like it please email me.
I recommend the Wellington Park Recreational Map available from Service Tasmania as it shows the current walking tracks on the mountain.
