A Associação Humanitária dos Bombeiros Voluntários de Almodôvar viu os seus primeiros estatutos aprovados em 24 de Outubro de 1977 e foi reconhecida como pessoa coletiva de utilidade pública administrativa a 13 de Abril de 1982.

The Humanitarian Association of the Voluntary Fire Fighters of Almodôvar saw its first constitution aproved on the 24 of October of 1997 and was recognized as a legal person of administrative public utility on the 13 of April of 1982.

Declarada de utilidade pública a 01 de Abril de 1982, A AHBVA presta serviços de socorro à população com 22 viaturas (6 Viaturas de combate a incêndios, 10 ambulâncias, 2 veículos de transporte, 1 viatura de comando, 1 viatura de socorro e salvamento, 1 viatura de reboque e um barco), um quadro permanente composto por 26 funcionários e 40 Bombeiros Voluntários. Declared public utility on the 01 of April of 1982, the AHBVA provides rescue services to the population with 22 vehicles (6 vehicles to combate bush fires, 10 ambulances, 2 vehicles for transportation, 1 vehicle of command, 1 vehicle of assistance and rescue, 1 vehicle for towage and a boat), a permanent personnel composed by 26 staff and 40 Voluntary Fire Fighters. Numa rotunda da vila, foi erigida uma escultura em homenagem aos Bombeiros Voluntários, escultura esta muito muito citada pela imprensa da especialidade.

A cache final está num lugar que não tem nada a ver com o tema, é por mera segurança e por razões práticas.

S1: Aqui encontrarão a escultura ao lado do quartel dos bombeiros. Do lado direito e de trás do carro há duas chaves de porcas na parte exterior da carroçaria, uma por cima da outra.
