In the 1930’s, Mulbarton Common was used for grazing cattle and sheep. Today, The Common, over 45 acres of open land, is a recreation area for the rapidly increasing number of people in the village - and their dogs. A number of football teams play at the south end of the Common – please workaround them.
The zones are based on business that are long gone and have been placed as close to their original location as prudence permits.
The Common is child friendly but be aware that it is bordered by busy roads.
