Geocache Description:

Last October the West End Farm Trail officially opened, and I was a bit surprised to see a portion of the trail ran from the end of the bicycle path in Hopkinton to Dimond Hill Farm in Concord.  Even more surprising was the complete absence of geocaches, so I decided to make a geocaching power trail of sorts and hide caches ~0.13 miles apart from one end to the other.


I was struggling to come up with a theme until just recently when our dear cocker spaniel Indie passed away.  Just last week Indie helped me place the first 5 caches on the trail, so I decided to name these caches in her honor.

I included parking coordinates if you choose to park at Dimond Hill Farm and work your way south.  There is a parking area reserved for trail users; the entrance is just south of the main building. Although the cache is located near the road please DO NOT park at the cache as this is a very busy road with little visibility for oncoming cars.

The thirteenth cache in this series is located just across the street from Dimond Hill Farm, a fabulous farm store when open in season. Dimond Hill also maintains a parking area for trail users which is located just south of the main building (with a separate entrance). There's also a kiosk located at the parking area with info about the West End Farm trail. The cache itself is not very winter-friendly but should be accessible with just a bit of probing.
