This is a nice hike up the southern end of a mountain system.
Trails are well traveled and easy to follow. Total elevation gain
to the cache is about 1000 feet, and a four mile round trip.
Park at N 35 05.373, W 106 23.494, but be sure to bring $3 to
pay the parking fee. Hike up a well-traveled trail for about two
miles. At N 35 05.932, W 106 24.351 you should see a gray sign
pole. Walk north from there about 50 feet to a large rock pile.
