Geocache Description:

Come join us for some
geocaching camaraderie
and a tour of the
Los Angeles/Oxnard
NOAA National Weather Service Forecast Office.

Location: 520 North Elevar Street
        Oxnard, CA 93030

Saturday March 16, 2013
9:00 AM

NOTE: Due to the popularity of this event a second tour time is being added at 10:30 AM

UPDATE Feb. 13th: The 9:00 AM tour is now full. The 10:30 AM tour still has room for about 15-20 more.

UPDATE Mar. 11th: Both the 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM tours are full. Anyone is still welcome to attend the event, but we can only accommodate around 50 people per tour time.

The weather can enhance your geocaching and hiking outings as well as put a damper on them. Here is your chance to meet the meteorologists behind that forecast and ask them those tough questions you have always wanted to. We have arranged for a 60-90 minute tour of the NOAA National Weather Service Forecast Office in Oxnard, CA.

The tour starts at 9:00 AM and will last roughly 60-90 minutes. After the tour there will be plenty of daylight left to head out and find some of the local caches. Note that a second tour has been added at 10:30 AM.

Bring along those trackables to share and trade too.
