Located in Fremont Older Open Space Preserve. About a 15 minute
hike from the trail head. An easy hike with beautiful views of the
South Bay.
The cache is hidden in a small plastic container and originally
contained the following items:
- Elephant toy from "Tarzan"
- Disney Magic Towel
- Back Street Boy figure from Burger King
- CD Rom Game Suite, including Solitaire, Poker, Cribbage, and
Bridge.
- Microsoft interactive CD sampler
- San Jose Housing key chain
- NASA Apollo trading cards
- Superball
- Small Lego building kits
- Halloween key chain
- Burger King action figure
- Fuji camera
- Log book and pen
After finding the cache, hike to the top of the hill for a
spectacular view. If you parked where we did, be sure to visit the
Pet Cemetery that we accidentally discovered on the way back. You
will find a small garden and headstones honoring departed pets with
names like Gretel and Midnight. The coordinates of this bizarre
discovery are: N 37 degree, 17.217' and W 122 degree, 03.483'
