Come visit the beautiful walking trails of Twinings Pond!
For more than thirty years, one of the primary land protection focus areas for the Orleans Conservation Trust (OCT) has been the southeastern corner of Town between Twinings Pond and Pleasant Bay. Now, we can celebrate the preservation of three more important parcels totalling 6-acres! These parcels will forever protect the existing wildlife corridor, multiple watersheds, a State designed Area of Critical Environmental Concern, and expand on the existing trails open to the public. This as all my caches are is a dog friendly location. There is a small parking area located at the trail head. I've included kid friendly geo swag! *****Update: Went to check the coordinates of the cache because no one could fine it, and it was missing. :-( Many who have tried should not be disheartened because several rolled the log it was under. I replaced it in a nearby location. No need to roll logs this time. Happy caching!
