[ESP] Geocache situado en la zona del campus de Tafira de la Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC). La ULPGC nace como tal en el año 1989 en respuesta a la demanda social que culmina en dicho año con la aprobación en el parlamento canario.
La localización de este punto permite contemplar el barranco de Guiniguada en zonas próximas al Jardín Canario. Este
barranco nace en la zona central de la isla para llegar a la capital de la isla, habiendo marcado la historia de la capital e insular.
Tener en cuenta que no hay iluminación de noche en la zona.
[ENG] Geocache located in the Tafira campus of the Universidad of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC). The ULPGC was born in 1989 in response to the social demand during the previous years that culminated with the approval in the Canary Islands parliament.
From the location of this cache it is possible to admire the Guiniguada ravine. The Guiniguada
ravine starts in the middle of the island to die in the coast of the capital of the island. The Guiniguada, has played a main role in the history of the city and island.
Remember that there is no light in the area by night.
