10 MAY 2003 UPDATE:
Much mahalos to DadWrap and co. for essentially adopting this cache. As you can see from his posting, he has made great strides restoring and reactivating this cache. One of the other postings also mentions mosquito repellant, so take that advice for what it's worth.
Thanks again DadWrap, and happy caching everyone!
16 JULY 2002 UPDATE:
I need someone there in Hawaii to "adopt" this cache. I am in the U.S. Air Force and have recently relocated to Ohio so I cannot maintain this cache. If anyone can take this over for me, please contact me.
Thanx.
The ingress route (or ingress/egress combination) you choose will determine the number and type of sights you will see along the way. Either way, bring a camera.
The cache is a white plastic container with a red snap-on lid. It originally held 25 lbs of bird seed.
I don't believe the additional clues below will be necessary; try it once without them. If you want to make it easier the first time, or can't get good satellite reception, the clues will be helpful.
Please don't be shy and use the disposable camera inside to take a quick pic of yourself/your group (then please leave the camera for the next hunter).
